Data on your device
Discovered animals, favourites and the selected language are stored only on your device. Images, texts, narration and animal sounds are bundled with the app. Speech uses local recordings and, where needed, an installed iOS voice. No microphone is used and no child’s voice is recorded.
iCloud and Apple services
The app has no app-specific iCloud sync, no login and no transmission of learning progress to the developer. Depending on your device settings, app data may nevertheless be included in an iOS or iCloud device backup. External source and licence links are in the protected parent area. A destination only processes connection data under its own notice when you open its link.
Retention, resetting and deletion
In the parent area, under your discovery journal, select and confirm “Reset progress and favourites”. This deletes those entries on the device; the language setting remains. Delete the app, rather than offloading it, to remove local preferences too. Manage any device backups separately in Apple settings; restoring a backup may restore old data.
Accounts, advertising and permissions
The app requires no separate account and contains no advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or integrated analytics or tracking services. It does not request location, camera, microphone or contact data. The developer does not operate a server to receive your game or learning data. The developer performs no automated decision-making or profiling.
Information for parents
The app can be used without a child’s name, date of birth, email or other personal details. There are no social features, chat, advertising or in-app purchases. The parent area with external links is protected by an arithmetic question. Parents or guardians should handle support and privacy enquiries and provide only necessary information.
Media and licences
Animal images are AI-generated illustrations, not wildlife photographs. The bundled narration was artificially generated with Supertonic 3 (F2). Generation does not take place during app use; no user data is sent to an AI service for this. Nature recordings are used under CC0 or CC BY. Individual authors, sources, licences and edits are listed in the app’s parent area. The world map uses public-domain Natural Earth coastline data.
Purposes and legal bases
Local preferences and progress enable you to use the app and continue where you left off. To the extent personal data is processed under our responsibility, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the usage contract). This also applies to requested contractual support. General enquiries and abuse prevention rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the interest in helpful, secure communication. Any separately given consent can be withdrawn for the future.
App Store & Privacy
Apple processes data when you download apps and use its services under its own terms. Depending on your Apple settings, Apple may make aggregated usage statistics or diagnostic reports available to the developer. The app does not integrate its own analytics SDK for this. The developer does not receive your payment details from the purchase.

When you contact us, we process your message and reply address. The form sends messages through STRATO to iCloud Mail. Completed enquiries are deleted once no longer needed; statutory retention duties or the protection of legal claims may require longer retention. The website privacy notice explains recipients, transfers, retention and legal bases.

Your privacy rights
Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent for the future. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact the address above. We cannot read data held solely on your device or in your private iCloud storage on your behalf. You may complain to a supervisory authority, for example where you live or in Hesse, Germany.

German, English and French. The website is also available in Thai.
Licence, purchase and availability
For apps obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies unless a different licence is specified in the App Store for that app and region. See the relevant store listing for price, availability, compatibility and age rating. Apps are not sold on this website. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
